All of the facilities I experimented with before SPU set me up with an inexperienced trainer and an unstructured workout regime. "I began training at SPU when I was a freshman in high school back in 2015. I was looking for a training regimen that would help me achieve my goals and ambitions and SPU went way beyond my expectations. Alex wrote personal workouts that were tailored specifically towards baseball to help increase my speed, power, strength, mobility, and overall performance on the field. Not only did all of my baseball metrics drastically increase within months of training at SPU, I also put on about 20 pounds of muscle throughout high school, while losing fat and building true athletic physique in the process. Alex helps me with my nutrition as well, making sure my body is fueled properly each day for rigorous training and a long baseball season. In high school my goal was to play in college and now as a senior college baseball player, my goal is to play professionally. SPU provides me with all the tools I need to get myself to the next level. I have been at SPU for about 8 years now and can honestly say that Alex has helped shape me into the person I am today. It goes beyond training, as Alex teaches the discipline, hard work, and dedication it takes to achieve anything you want in life. I have trained with Matt for just about 4 years. Before I started training with Matt, I was indifferent to the entire process. Every trainer I had been with in the past used the same cookie cutter approach to personal training; Everybody did the same thing over and over again. Matt takes the time to design a personalized fitness plan for each of his clients and he makes sure each person knows why they are doing each specific exercise and that they are doing it carefully and correctly to avoid injury.
