FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I get started?
Getting started is simple - all you need to do is schedule an analysis with one of our coaches. To schedule yours, you can call us at (203) 831-0130, email us at [email protected], or click the "Register Now" tab at the top right corner.
What is the schedule?
You make your own schedule, pending our availability. Most of our athletes participate in our athletic performance training programs, which is done in a semi-private setting. We have a coach to athlete ratio of 1:8, so as long as eight other athletes haven't already booked the coach for your preferred hour, you can select whatever times you want. You also get to choose how many times per week you come in. For competitive high school athletes and older, we suggest 3-5 times per week (1-2 times during the season), and for younger, middle school aged athletes we suggest 2-3 times per week.
What is the cost for training?
The cost for our normal, semi-private athletic performance training is $40/session. By making it semi-private, we help keep the cost down for our athletes. We also offer personal training starting at $120/hour, where you get a coach 100% to yourself. The only other cost is the initial registration, which at $99 covers the beginning analysis. We do offer payment plans.
How long is a training session?
Generally, our sessions range from 1 hour to 1 hour and fifteen minutes. However, for our athletic performance training in the semi-private setting we don't have a set time or limit. The athlete can stay for as long as he or she needs to in order to complete their program. Session lengths for private instruction and personal training are normally at one hour but can be discussed with your coach.
Can I sign up for private instruction for sport specific skill work?
Yes, in addition to our training services, we have the Drayson Quarterback Academy. Our academies have their own web pages, available under the "Sport Academies" tab above.
How does registration work?
When you first come in, we allow you to start with an 8-session beginning package. After that, we have our clients sign up on a seasonal basis (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer). This allows us to know their schedule for that 13-week period and program accordingly. This also allows the athlete to adjust their schedule to fit their school and sport schedules as the school semesters change.
What sports do we train?
We train athletes from every sport. Our comprehensive system of analysis and individualized approach to training allows us to cater our programs to all demographics. From football to swimming, from young to adults, there is no sport or client that we can't help.
Where are we located?
We are located in Wilton, CT in the back lot of the strip on 37 Danbury Road. We are easily accessible from everywhere in Fairfield County and parts of Westchester County.
Are you coaches certified?
Yes, all of our coaches have certifications in the field of strength and conditioning. In addition, every coach goes through a rigorous training process to be allowed to work with our athletes.
What other services do you offer?
We are your one stop shop when it comes to performance - in addition to our training and sport academies, we offer sport nutrition and physical therapy.
