Softball prioritizes anaerobic rotational movements such as throwing, swinging, and running the bases. A solid core and explosive lower body power are both essential to success in softball, regardless of position. Whether hoping to improve bat speed, pitch velocity, or range as a fielder, anaerobic fitness training exercises are most beneficial to athletes playing softball.

Typical softball functional movements include front/back squats, sliding leg curls, and medicine throws/slams. ​Starting with a personalized biomechanical analysis, SPU will devise a training plan that will take your game to the next level.
